Best of Spain Part 1 - Eastern and Central
On the first of two evenings exploring the diversity of Spanish wines we will be looking at the Eastern and Central parts of Spain.
Here we're going to start the evening with some Cava, Spain's answer to Champagne! A sparkling wine which may have been overshadowed of late but we've got an excellent example to start with.
We'll also look at some white and red wines from the lesser known regions that extend along the Mediterranean coast, including some aromatic whites and intensely flavoured reds. We'll finish up with a wine from Priorat, one of Spain's better kept secrets when it comes to big juicy red wines!
The tasting will include at least six samples,with some nibbles to match, tasting sheet, ISO glasses and expert tutor.
