Join us for a 2 hour tasting featuring our top tips for food and wine matching!
We generally enjoy food and wine together, but how much do you think about matching the two together? While it is true that as long as you have food that you like and wine that you enjoy you are going to be fine, there are some things that are just better together. And some that are definitely better avoided!
On this tasting we will have six different wines with six different food samples, and explore the principals of food and wine mtaching, with some great tips that you will be able to use at home. The line up will include at least some of the following:
- Smoked Salmon with a delicate Sauvginon Blanc
- Cheddar with a hearty Cabernet Sauvignon
- Beef with a full bodied Malbec
- Blue Cheese with sweet Sauternes
- Chorizo with a smokey Rioja
- Goats Cheese with a zingy Riesling
